Gb44 Roulette Coverage Basics

Man beside a roulette table — Gb44

In Play'n GO's European Roulette Pro, a chip's position defines a set of wheel pockets. The ball selects one pocket, and every chip is tested against that same result.

This page explains game formats and rules; it is not a playable lobby. Check the relevant service for current game availability and the exact version in use.

Low numbers and first dozen overlap

A low-number chip covers 1–18. A first-dozen chip covers 1–12. They overlap on 1–12 but are not the same selection. Both chips remain paid even though the wheel spins only once.

Suppose the ball ends on 11: both chips' covered sets include it. If 15 appears, only low includes it. If 25 or green zero appears, neither of those chips covers it. This compares membership, not a winning strategy; the wheel's next pocket is not influenced by previous results.

Coverage and payout are different measures

A group covering more pockets has more possible winning results, but it uses a different stated payout from a smaller group. The two-chip example must be evaluated using both chip costs and the table's actual payouts. A gross award on one chip does not automatically make the combined spin profitable.

A straight-up chip, split and corner cover one, two and four layout positions respectively in the cited rules. On a phone, confirm which cell or border is selected and the combined stake before pressing Spin.

Zero is its own pocket

The single green zero is outside red/black, odd/even and low/high groups. It is also outside the low and first-dozen groups in the example. A past series of reds or low results does not remove zero from the next spin.

A saved chip arrangement can put multiple chips back on the layout in the Play'n GO version. Count their values as a new stake for the new spin. Saved placement is convenience, not probability information.

Do not transfer the result clock to sports

The roulette round closes when its final pocket is known. A sports market waits for the named fixture and period to finish, sometimes under interruption rules. The same practice helps both: read the exact selection and then compare the final result, while keeping the stakes separate.

Questions about games

Can low and first dozen both win on 11?

Yes. Eleven belongs to both 1–18 and 1–12, so both chips meet their coverage conditions; both also cost a stake.

Does zero count as low?

No. Green zero is outside the 1–18 low group in the cited European rules.

Does a saved roulette layout preserve the old cost?

No. Restored chips form a new total stake if used for another paid spin.
